Background
The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award a single or multiple single, Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract(s) for Alconbury Student Transportation Services, DoDEA-Europe West District. The services will be for a potential 5-year period, including a Base Period of one (1) year and four (4) one-year Option Periods, with an additional 6-months service in accordance with 52.217-8. Interested parties are responsible for downloading the solicitation, all supporting documents and any applicable amendments posted in Contracts Opportunity. All Contractors doing business with DoDEA must have an active record in the System for Award Management (SAM) database by the proposal due date and time.

Work Details
The contract requires fulfilling all requirements and objectives identified to meet the needs of a safe and efficient student transportation program. It includes specific performance standards, acceptable quality levels, and methods of surveillance for transportation objectives, customer complaint reporting objective, security objective, safety objective, vehicle standards objective, personnel standards objective, accident/incident objective. The contract also involves issuing Contract Discrepancy Reports (CDR) for non-performance or failure to meet an objective and utilizing a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) to monitor the Contractor’s performance on the contract.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a potential 5-year period, including a Base Period of one (1) year and four (4) one-year Option Periods, with an additional 6-months service in accordance with 52.217-8.

Place of Performance
Alconbury Student Transportation Services will be performed in DoDEA-Europe West District.
