Ambulance Services for Fort Belvoir Community Hospital Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and Subordinate MTFs

Background
The Defense Health Agency’s Northeast Market Contracting Division (NEM CD) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for Ambulance Services with health care support for Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (FBCH), Fort Belvoir, VA, and its subordinate Clinics. The RFI is intended for gathering commercial market information and planning purposes, and no solicitation is available at this time.

Work Details
The contractor will be required to provide Ambulance Services with health care support for Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (FBCH), Fort Belvoir, VA, and its subordinate Clinics. This includes providing certified/licensed Emergency Medical Technicians Basic (EMT-B), Cardiac Rescue Technician (CRT), CRT Intermediate (CRT-I), EMT-Paramedics (EMT-P), and /or Critical Care Transport Nurses to meet patient transport categories designated by the requesting facility. The services to be provided include:
- Ambulance Service
- Advanced Life Support Transport
- Basic Life Support Transport
- Critical Care Transport
- Routine Patient Wheelchair Transport
- NICU Transport
- NICU Helipad Transport.
The contractor must be qualified/certified in all relevant standards and must have a transport fleet and healthcare transport staff capable of meeting the requirements. The period of performance shall be for one (1) Base Year (6 months) and four (4) 12-month option years.

Period of Performance
Base Year: 01 April 2023 – 30 Sept 2023; Option Year I: 01 Oct 2023 – 30 Sept 2024; Option Year II: 01 Oct 2024 – 30 Sept 2025; Option Year III: 01 Oct 2025 – 30 Sept 2026; Option Year IV: 01 Oct 2026 – 30 Sept 2027
