The Mission & Installation Contracting Command - Fort Knox (MICC-Knox) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole-source basis, to Laurinburg Maxton Airport Commission, 16701 Airport Road, Maxton, North Carolina, 28364, an other than small business. This contract is to provide a dedicated drop zone for parachute operations and training jumps capable of supporting the entire fleet of the USAPT Aircraft (2 medium and 3 light aircraft). Background

Work Details
The contractor shall provide a dedicated drop zone for parachute operations and training jumps for the US Army Parachute Team (USAPT). The drop zone must be capable of supporting the entire fleet of USAPT Aircraft. Currently, the USAPT has a training facility on lease at the Laurinburg Maxton Airport within walking distance to this dedicated drop zone.
The period of performance for this contract is from 29 September 2023 through 28 September 2024, with 4 one-year option periods.
