Q & A

Q. How can my company quote?

A. The instructions are included in Section L of the attachment, pages 28-30.

Q. Requests for drawing 116190 for clarification on P/N NSWC-116190-11 Lanyard, located on Drawing 7245943 ABPA/HPFA Fittings FN 5.

A. Our technical team is not aware of a specific drawing. However, this was a lanyard, and per the drawing, purchased from AERO ASSEMBLIES, INC (CAGE CODE 1R2B1).

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) has a requirement for the
acquisition of Air Booster Pump Assemblies (ABPA) Build Kits for the manufacture/repair of Air Booster Pump
Assemblies (ABPAs) for fleet outfitting. The ABPA build kits being acquired will be used to fabricate the Air
Booster Pump Assemblies. THE ABPA is a two-man portable system housed within an aluminum tubular frame.
The ABPA is part of the ships Breathing Air Charging Station BACS. The BACS is used to charge SCBA cylinders
with breathing quality air (Grade D) to a pressure of 4500 pounds per square inch. High Pressure filter Assemblies
(HPFAs) are mounted to the ship's bullheads at various locations throughout the ship. The ABPA and connecting
hose assemblies are portable and can be moved from one HPA filter station to another. These components are
technical machined and manufactured parts. The tube set used in the ABPA is complex and requires accurate
manufacturing to properly connect the components in the ABPA to ensure it will work correctly.

The attached RFQ contains a statement of work and drawings. Interested parties shall request the consolidated document through SAM.gov, and read closely the entire document which includes sections L & M.
