AF Dental Service Continuing Education (AFDS)

Background
The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research relative to the Air Force Dental Service Continuing Education (AFDS) CY2022-CY2027 requirement. This RFI announcement is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement. The information from this RFI is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The AFDS requirement is critical to satisfy CE requirements IAW the Dental Management Guide dated, 25 Jan 2018, under section 8.5 for all AF Dental active duty, civilian dental assistants and ancillary personnel. The training is to ensure all AFDS personnel maintain knowledge and skills through their dental careers with the AF.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide continuing education services via e-mail, on-line home study courses, and helpdesk support to AFDS dental personnel to include technical support services and make their toll-free number available. Continuing education services shall be provided through an on-line library for up to 3,000 AF dental assistants and dental ancillary personnel to include active duty and civilian dental assistants, dental hygienists and dental laboratory personnel through the availability of on-line home study courses. The on-line library shall be password protected and access limited to AF personnel. No more than 48 hours of downtime per quarter.
CE topics shall be updated on a regular basis, preferably every three (3) years.
