The AMMPS systems are specialized, medium-sized Jet Propellant 8 (JP-8) fueled generators used to supply electricity to military systems away from fixed electrical power sources. The generators are specialized pieces of equipment due to the environmental conditions they must operate in and the weapon systems they power. The proposed acquisition is for production orders and delivery of AMMPS to meet the ongoing needs of the Army and DoD services for medium sized mobile power generators requirements.

Amendment 1 - Incorporate Attachment B08 Solicitation - W909MY-22-R-0015
Amendment 2 - Extend closing date of solicitation to 06 September 2023. Incorporate updated Attachment 0001 - Statement of Work (SOW) 10 Aug 2023 & Attachment 0002 - AMMPS Updated Price List_Solicitation Amendment 2. Previous versions of Attachment 0001 & 0002 are not to be used. Contractors shall acknowledge in their proposals the amendments.
Amendment 3 - Update Exhibit A to "Exhibit A - CDRLs08112023". This update incorporates A018. Incorporate Attachment 0009 - AMMPS Technical Data Packages (TDPS) Drawings.
Amendment 4 - Update Attachment "B08 Solicitation - W909MY-22-R-0015" to "B08 Soliciation - Updated 23 August 2023". The change in this update can be seen in Section M.2.5.

Background
The U.S. Army's Project Manager Expeditionary Energy and Sustainment Systems (PM E2S2) requires a contract vehicle for the continued production of Advanced Medium Mobile Power Sources (AMMPS) generator sets, in 5 kilowatt (kW), 10kW, 15kW, 20kW, and 60kW sizes and 50/60 Hertz (Hz) and 400 Hz power configurations, using an established Government Technical Data Package. The contemplated contract also includes associated interface kits, switch boxes, and trailers. The proposed acquisition is for production orders and delivery of AMMPS to meet the ongoing needs of the Army and DoD services for medium-sized mobile power generators requirements.

Work Details
The Contractor shall perform (IAW) the Statement of Work (SOW) (located at List of Attachments - Attachment 0001 - Statement of Work (SOW)), applicable contract terms and clauses, and deliver items conforming to the Technical Data Package (Attachment 0003). Unless relieved of a contractual requirement by , the Contractor shall perform all contract contractual/SOW requirements during the ordering period, regardless of the number or value of orders actually placed. The minimum guarantee provides consideration for this effort.

3-year base ordering period with a 6-year optional ordering period
