Ashore and Afloat Networks and Information engineering services in support of Networks and Information Systems

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC Pacific) intends toissue Request for Proposal (RFP) No. N66001-09-R-0002 for ashore and afloatnetworks and information engineering services in support of networks andinformation systems that are currently operational and/or under development.The proposed contract will encompass an array of engineering servicesincluding systems engineering related to databasedevelopment/administration, C4I systems development, installation andsupport, modeling and simulation (M&S) support, network operations, computeroperations, configuration management, logistic support, and technicaldocumentation. This broad technical area of support will require engineeringservices associated with shipboard wide area networks, programs associatedwith developing and maintaining Local Area Networks, and future technologydevelopment and technical services for Naval and Marine Corps intranetrequirements. This proposed contract has security requirements at the TopSecret with SCI access. This contract will be for Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee,IndefiniteDelivery, Indefinite Quantity, Engineering Services with a three-year baseperiod with the potential of two (2) one-year award term periods (for potentialmaximum contract period of five (5) years). The estimated level of effort is654,900 hours for the entire potential performance period. Large businessesare encouraged to form joint ventures with small businesses. The NorthAmerican Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541330 and the SmallBusiness Size Standard $27M. The estimated released date for the solicitationis anticipated by 24 April 2009 and response will be due 30 days thereafter.The solicitation will only be available electronically.
