Milk and Dairy Foods for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System   3

Background
The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) is seeking a contractor to provide on-site delivery of fresh milk and dairy products. This contract aims to support the nutritional needs of veterans receiving care at CAVHS facilities, including the Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center and the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital. The goal is to ensure that high-quality dairy products are consistently available for patient meals.

Work Details
The contractor shall deliver fresh milk and dairy products, including but not limited to:
- Milk, Type A (Whole) 1/2 Pint: 65,150 units
- Low Fat Milk, Type III: 217,500 units
- Chocolate Milk, Type I: 37,175 units
- Low Fat Milk, Type III (additional): 37,175 units
- Buttermilk: 3,900 units
- Cottage Cheese: 600 units
- Ice Cream: 22,000 dozen
- Sherbet: 22,000 dozen.
All products must meet USDA standards for freshness and packaging. Deliveries will occur three times per week before 8:00 AM at two locations:
1. John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital - Main Kitchen.
2. Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center - Main Kitchen.
Expiration dates must be a minimum of ten days for fluid milk and fourteen days for non-fluid dairy products post-delivery.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from February 1, 2025, to January 31, 2030.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to:
1. Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72114.
2. John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital, 4300 West 7th Street, Little Rock, AR 72205.
