Dell Servers for Haskell Indian Nations Univ.

Background
Haskell Indian Nations University (HINU) offers students, staff, and faculty access to secured, shared network resources provided by network servers located within the university’s data center. These servers will be the foundation on which current and future network resources will be installed, configured, developed, and deployed, enabling an intranet of services, secured applications, and storage beneficial to Haskell’s academic success and offering new technologies for all university stakeholders. Haskell has been operating on antiquated servers for several years which require updates, some of which are no longer available to the current operating system of various servers. Upgrading all campus servers is necessary and a requirement for educational services provided by Haskell to students in order to meet specific security requirements.

These rack-mounted servers will also allow an increase of applications to students, staff, and faculty to assist with online resources for their respective courses.

Work Details
Haskell seeks to purchase five (5) new Dell servers for the campus data center. Specifications of each Dell server model listed on the following pages must be acquired. The servers will be shipped to Haskell and upon physical receipt of the equipment, Haskell will be given a 14-day verification period to ensure all specifications have been met. If server specifications are not met, Haskell will have the option to have any equipment not meeting specifications returned or replaced as quickly as possible.
