Commvault - Data Migration/Syndication Software (VA-23-00079908)

PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM IO) has a requirement to renew brand name Commvault Data Platform perpetual backup software licenses. As the EHRM IO Data Migration/Syndication environment has continued to grow, more and more data is being syndicated back to VA from Oracle Cerner and other external partners and use of the environment by clinicians and researchers has increased dramatically. As a result, EHRM IO requires the ability to continue backing up this growing volume of data. This renewal of Commvault backup licenses is necessary to maintain the capacity of the EHRM IO Data Migration/Syndication backup environment (which currently utilizes Commvault products to support its operations) to ensure protection for the ever-increasing amount of invaluable data housed by EHRM IO as well as the data analyses generated by the clinicians and researchers who use the EHRM IO Data Migration/syndication environment. The following Commvault software packages are required: a) Commvault Complete Backup & Recovery for Virtualized Environments, Per VM (Virtual Machine) (83 licenses) and b) Commvault Complete Backup & Recovery for Physical Servers, Per Operating Instance (270 licenses). The period of performance (PoP) will be 7/24/2023 to 7/23/2024, with two 12-month option periods to renew the Commvault software licenses.
