General Software Enhancements

Background
The ITAC (Information Technology Acquisition Center) develops, enhances, and maintains both custom and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software systems that support NHLBI (National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute) business operations. This support is divided among multiple development contractors, with one contractor focusing on Software Maintenance/Sustainment and another on Software Enhancement. The goal of this task order is to provide software development and enhancement services for a designated set of ITAC managed software systems.

Work Details
The General Software Enhancements task order provides software development support and enhancement for several critical applications utilized across NHLBI and NIH (National Institutes of Health). Key applications include:
- Electronic Performance Management Appraisal Program (ePMAP)
- Grants Dashboard
- Tracking, Requests and Correspondence (TRAC)
- User Interface Path (UiPath)
- SharePoint
- Power Platform Applications.

Once enhancement programs are completed, the software will transition to the maintenance portfolio. Development services are required to meet emerging NHLBI mission needs, improve underlying code and architecture, reduce technical debt, and align with the target architecture defined by the NHLBI ITAC Enterprise Architecture.
