Background
The purpose of this contract is to obtain a Durable Medicare Equipment (DME) Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) to provide specified health insurance benefit administration services, including Medicare claims processing and payment services, in support of the 'traditional' Medicare program for Jurisdiction A, which includes several states and territories.

Work Details
The contract is anticipated to be a Cost Reimbursement type contract with the primary pricing arrangement expected to be Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF). The amount of award fee the Contractor earns will be based upon an evaluation by the Performance Evaluation Award Fee Plan. The period of performance for completion of all work included in this contract shall be from the effective date of contract award through 12 months, plus six one-year options.

The contract also includes provisions for Task Directives with specifically defined scopes and schedules to direct the contractor to perform special projects.
