The purpose of this amendment (A00002) is to: 1. Release Questions & Answers (Q&A) dated February 9, 2016. VA does not intend to answer any further questions in order to maintain the procurement schedule. 2. Revise the Technical Spreadsheet (Attachment 002) to reflect "Up to 42 images per minute (ipm) simplex" for Configurations 1A and 1B as stated in the Performance Work Statement. _____________________________________________________________________________________ This OFFICIAL synopsis/solicitation is for a firm-fixed-price multiple-award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ) enterprise contract to satisfy an ongoing need at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) enterprise level to procure or lease Multifunctional Devices (MFDs). This will fulfill VA's printing, copying, and scanning needs (including installation, configuration, training, and standard one-year commercial warranty support and maintenance) by offering eight unique MFD configurations for purchase or lease. This acquisition is required in order to provide VA organizations with an efficient means of replacing and/or refreshing its MFD inventory that is at or approaching its end-of-life. Establishment of a multiple-award ID/IQ enterprise vehicle will enable any VA organization to quickly and efficiently acquire current generation MFDs to meet its minimum MFD requirements. The IDIQ contract will consist of a single 2-year ordering period. This will be a competitive acquisition and a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside. VA intends to make up to three awards and reserves the right to make additional awards if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government. The NAICS code for this procurement is anticipated to be 334118. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is VA118-16-R-0978 (previously issued as a Request For Information under ID# VA118-15-N-0225 and cancelled solicitation #VA118-15-R-0257, VA118-15-R-0395 and VA118-16-R-0882).
