Leksell Vantage Stereotactic System - Robert Hamilton   2

Background
This is a firm-fixed price supply order for two (2) Elekta Leksell Vantage Stereotactic systems and starting consumables. The system is used for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as functional interventions, micro-surgical procedures, or Gamma Knife® surgery. The Elekta Leksell Vantage Stereotactic system works with the Center’s ROSA and StealthNavigator surgical systems. It is a head positioning device critical for providing unmatched surgical accuracy. The system is compatible with current neurosurgical robots (ROSA) and navigation systems (Medtronic Stealth S8). It allows for precise trajectory all the way down to the base of the skull due to the single piece frame, guide, and stop slide.

The neurosurgical team currently utilizes a stereotactic frame from Elekta, which utilizes a proprietary guidance system unique from other vendors, allowing a surgeon to locate and mark a site of interest with minimal confusion.

Work Details
This contract involves the supply of two (2) Elekta Leksell Vantage Stereotactic systems and starting consumables. The total cost is $300,224.38. The Vantage system is a head positioning device that provides unmatched surgical accuracy and is compatible with current neurosurgical robots (ROSA) and navigation systems (Medtronic Stealth S8).
