Background
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price, Purchase Order to Metrohom Spectro Inc. 313 ENTERPRISE DRIVE, PLAINSBORO, NJ 08536 USA. The EPA National Enforcement Investigations Center (NEIC) laboratory requires a new titrator that can be coupled with a water bath and autosampler to expand their current analytical capabilities. The system is used for pH analysis in support of EPA civil and criminal activities. Metrohm is the only manufacturer that offers a water bath that automatically controls sample temperatures, which is crucial for the methods employed by EPA and fosters more accurate measurements.

Work Details
The contract involves the purchase and installation of a Metrohm 855 Robotic Titrosampler Basic 1T/1P with water bath and autosampler. Specific tasks include providing, delivering, and installing various products such as Robotic Sample Processor XL, Dosing Unit 807 Glass 20, FEP tubing, Brown glass bottle GL45 1-L, Titration Head with Sensor R., Sample rack for 789:59x120mL, Julabo CORIO CD-600F Refrigerated/heating circulator 5-7.5 L, Omnis software stand-alone license, and more. The installation responsibilities include supervising uncrating, positioning, and racking of the products; inventorying the shipment against the packing list; physically interconnecting the products; checking the primary power line voltage; connecting line power to products shipped with power cable and connector; installing operating system and utilities; executing turn-on procedures; performing electronic and mechanical adjustments; performing any repairs which may be required to make the products operational; executing standard diagnostic or verification programs and tests; instructing operator on daily care and proper use of products.

Period of Performance
Delivery of product will be within not more than 60 days of award.
