Abbott Binax Now COVID Ag Card Testing Supplies VISN 1 (VA-22-00001112)   4

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a 5-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for SARS-CoV2 testing supplies using Abbott Binax Now COVID-19 AG Card. The testing platform has been in use since January 2021 and is still needed for rapid COVID-19 testing. The base period of performance needed is 10-1-2021 through 9-30-2022 with a total period of performance 10-1-21 through 9-30-2026. The VA has multiple SARS-CoV-2 testing platforms in place, and each has their purpose in helping control the effects of the pandemic on patients, visitors, and staff.

Work Details
The BPA requires specific test and control supply volume estimates to be provided on an as-needed basis. The estimated annual quantity required includes 4,398 BinaxNOW COVID 19 Test Cards and 100 BinaxNOW COVID 19 controls. The vendor will supply the reagent kits and instruments upon request, with reagents having the longest outdates possible. Supplies and reagents shall be shipped and replenished in quantities as requested by individual site labs using delivery orders off the established agreement or via government purchase card.

The vendor will provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for products, notify within 24 hours regarding any recalled reagents or product notifications, and allow all VISN 1 sites to participate in this agreement.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from 10/01/2021 to 09/30/2026.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to various locations including VA Boston Healthcare System, VA Bedford, VA Providence, VA Maine, VA Manchester, VA Central Western MA, VA White River Junction, VACT West Haven, VACT Newington.
