Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 08 Contracting Office, is seeking to procure patient lift replacements for the West Palm Beach VA Hospital. The goal of this contract is to enhance patient care by providing modern ceiling lift systems that meet specific weight capacities and installation requirements. This initiative aligns with the VA's mission to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement and installation of the following items:

1. Ceiling Lift System 550 lb Capacity - Quantity: 126
2. Ceiling Lift System Bariatric 1100 lb Capacity - Quantity: 7
3. Installation of 133 lifts.

Specifications for the lifts include:
- Max lift capacity for standard lifts: at least 550 lbs.
- Max lift capacity for bariatric lifts: at least 1100 lbs.
- Features include electronic motor, electronic hand controls, in-rail charging, emergency stop feature, and a full 3-year warranty on parts and labor.
- All new equipment must be FDA Class 1 Medical Devices and have integrated weight scales with LCD screens.

Locations for installation will be specified in the Statement of Work (SOW), including existing lifts to be replaced and new installations.

Period of Performance
Delivery is required within 180 days after receipt of order (ARO). The overall contract period is expected to begin on September 20, 2024, and end on March 21, 2025.

Place of Performance
All products will be delivered to the West Palm Beach VA Hospital located at 7305 North Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410-6400.
