1.0 DESCRIPTION The Bath VA Medical Center requires a precise and reliable pipette calibration system to ensure accuracy in liquid handling, compliance with regulatory standards, and enhanced laboratory quality assurance processes. To fulfill this need, the Bath VA Medical Center seeks the implementation of a brand name or equal PCS-510 Instrument Package Pipette Calibration System that meets or exceeds the functionality, performance, and compliance features of the Artel Pipette Calibration System (PCS). This system will support the Bath VA Medical Center in maintaining high standards of laboratory performance through precise calibration, user-friendly software, and compliance tools that align with industry regulations. The inclusion of extended warranty services, annual recertification, and preventive maintenance ensures ongoing accuracy, reliability, and operational efficiency. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued in accordance with the FAR 10.002(b)(2) to determine the availability and technical capabilities of qualified sources. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 - Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrograph (CS-MS) Systems and the associated size standard is 1,000 employees. The FAR Provision found at 52.204-7(b)(1) requires that All interested Offerors must be registered in SAM prior to submitting an offer or quotation.
