This is a source sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, small veteran owned business or service disabled veteran owned small business) relative to NACIS 339112 (size standard of 1,000 employees). This is not a solicitation. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in the SAM.gov website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office NCO22, is seeking sources for vendors to purchase an EcoLab Hush Slush 2.0 for the VA San Diego Healthcare System. The anticipated award date shall be 4/8/2024. If you are interested and are capable of providing the required services please provide the requested information as indicated below. Hush Slush Fluid Warmer: It must automatically shut off when machine is unplugged to prevent accidental heating when the unit gets turned back on. The fluid warmer must be build and connected to slush machine requiring only one power cord. Fluid Warmer must be fully integrated into the slush machine. It must have additional Ventilation to improve the condenser airflow. It shall have a disk-drape connect to the auto-stir inside the basin with a secure channel lock design, to prevent pop-offs during procedure. It must have a single electrical source to power slush auto-piston fluid warmer. It must have smooth glide caster wheels to minimized disruptions in the operating room.
