Overhead Paging Services for Louisville VARO   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to install an overhead paging system at the Louisville Regional Office (LRO) located in the Waterfront Plaza building. The goal of this contract is to enhance emergency alerting and paging capabilities for VA employees, as the current Tadiran phone system will be replaced by CISCO IP phones that do not support voice messaging features.

The installation of the new system aims to ensure effective communication during emergencies and routine operations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for installing an overhead paging system that connects to the new VOIP PBX via FXS/ATA supplied by PBX. The system must allow for emergency alerting and paging using CISCO IP phones. Specific requirements include:
- Installation of paging stations in designated offices on floors three (3) and four (4).
- Capability for users to dial a number on CISCO IP phones to deliver verbal messages across the telecom network.
- Annual maintenance costs must be provided by the vendor, along with necessary service when required.
- Work hours are to be conducted between 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays or facility closures.

Period of Performance
Base Period of Performance begins on September 30, 2024, and ends on December 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
Work will be performed at Waterfront Plaza, 321 West Main Street, Louisville, KY 40202.
