Background
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the replacement of the roof at the Shop and Supply Building (SSB) located at 200 SW 35th Street, Corvallis, OR 97333.

The existing roofing materials have reached the end of their useful life, necessitating this project to ensure compliance with current building standards and improve energy efficiency.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for replacing approximately 6,000 square feet of roofing surface. The scope includes:
- Preparation of the roofing surface, vertical surfaces, penetrations, and drains for TPO membrane roofing installation (minimum thickness of 60 mils).
- Removal of all materials that do not provide a sound underlayment for the roofing membrane, including insulation, flashing, and roof jacks.
- Installation of TPO membrane over ½” densdeck on top of tapered polyiso insulation with an R-value of R-30.
- Modifications to all roof penetrations and transitions to accommodate additional insulation.
- Installation must comply with manufacturer’s instructions and include maintenance walk pads in mechanical areas.
- The TPO membrane must be designed for fully adhered attachment to withstand local wind loads and come with a minimum 20-year warranty from the manufacturer.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 15 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and complete it within a specified timeframe as detailed in the solicitation.

The work will be performed at the EPA Shop and Supply Building located at 200 SW 35th Street, Corvallis, OR 97333.
