Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) in Chelmsford, MA processes high volume, direct-to-patient-delivery prescriptions to eligible Veterans throughout the United States using integrated, automated dispensing systems. The requirement for snow removal services is a set aside for SD/VOSB. The contract will be a firm fixed price contract with a base and four option years, totaling five years. The effective start date of the contract shall be December 16, 2022.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all expertise, supervision, labor, equipment, and supplies necessary to accomplish full snow removal service of the facilities grounds. This includes ensuring pedestrian and vehicle traffic areas are free from slipping hazards due to snow and ice, pre-treating and removing snow from designated areas, providing salt or ice melt treatments, keeping fire lanes open and storm drains clear, providing proof of business liability insurance, and maintaining records of all activities performed onsite.
Site visits are strongly encouraged to bid this requirement.

Period of Performance
The contract includes a base year and four option years, totaling five years. The effective start date of the contract shall be December 16, 2022.
