2K Laser Powder bed Fusion Combustion Chamber and Specialty Alloy Build Processing

Background
NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) has a requirement for advanced manufacturing capabilities, specifically for laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) component builds using novel NASA Nickel-based burn resistant alloys and other specialty alloys.
The goal of this contract is to support the development and testing of components necessary for 2K-class nozzle testing scheduled at the end of FY25. NORTH AMERICAN MANUFACTURING PROS LLC has been identified as the sole provider for these specialized services.

Work Details
The contractor will perform the following tasks:
1. **GRCop-42 2K-Class Combustion Chamber Builds Using L-PBF**: Complete a minimum of sixteen (16) chamber liner builds using GRCop-42, with all models provided by NASA. Notify NASA of any errors or issues during builds and complete powder removal after machine use.

2. **L-PBF Machine Lease**: Provide a machine for two months to process GRX-810 and ORCAlloy-21 for 2K-class injectors, ensuring availability for a minimum of 432 hours per month with an estimated run time of 60%. Custom parameters developed under prior work must be used, and all powder certifications must be tracked.

3. **Mechanical Testing**: Conduct a minimum of fifty (50) mechanical tests on samples from Task 1, including tensile and fatigue tests, with conditions coordinated with NASA.

4. **Machining of Components**: Coordinate with NASA to complete machining per their requirements.

5. **Post-Processing**: Complete heat treatment, stress relief, and surface enhancements as required by NASA for the coolant channels.
