24 ft. Livestock Trailer for Yellowstone National

Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation to acquire a 24 ft. aluminum livestock trailer for Yellowstone National Park. The goal of the contract is to provide a durable and efficient means of transporting livestock within the park, supporting its mission to preserve and protect natural resources while facilitating necessary operations.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of one (1) 24 ft. aluminum stock trailer with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 20,000 lbs. The specifications include:
- Inside width: 93 inches (not to exceed)
- Inside height: 6 feet 8 inches (+- 2 inches)
- Outside length: 24 feet (no deviation)
- Manufacturer: Wilson Trailer Forman model or equal.

The trailer must be constructed using lightweight and corrosion-resistant aluminum with riveted connections for flexibility, equipped with full-length steel floor supports, a fully boxed steel frame, and an all-aluminum subframe. It should also feature a spring-loaded rear door assembly and embossed side panels for increased strength. Additionally, there is a trade-in requirement for a 2022 4Star Gooseneck 24 ft livestock trailer, serial number 4FKSG2420P0040939.
