2025 Grounds Maintenance

Background
The Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC) in Vicksburg, MS, part of the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), requires a new grounds maintenance contract.

The mission of ERDC is to provide innovative solutions to the nation's engineering challenges. The goal of this contract is to ensure proper maintenance of the grounds at the ERDC main campus and other designated sites, enhancing the operational environment.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials necessary for grass mowing, edging, trimming, and other grounds maintenance services at the ERDC main campus located at 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, Mississippi 39180-6199, as well as at the Big Black Test Site in Bovina, MS and the Flowers Site in Flowers, MS.

Services include:
1. Level 1 Mowing Service for 9 months.
2. Level 2 Mowing Service for 9 months.
3. Level 3 Mowing Service for 9 months.
4. Level 4 Mowing Service for 5 occurrences.
5. Level 5 Mowing Service for 95 acres on demand.
6. Flower Bed Maintenance for 3 occurrences.
7. Leaf Collection and Disposal for 95 acres.
8. Herbicide Application for 12 months.
9. Crape Myrtle and ornamental tree pruning for 1 occurrence.
10. Options for shrubbery replacement (50 each), tree replacement (25 each), annual flower flat planting (250 each), additional mowing services (691 acres total), additional flower bed maintenance (600 square yards), and additional herbicide application (120,000 square yards). All services must comply with specifications outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be at the ERDC main campus in Vicksburg, Mississippi, with additional work at designated sites including Big Black Test Site in Bovina, MS and Flowers Site in Flowers, MS.
