Description: The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center (DEVCOM AvMC) will hold an Industry Day to discuss the organization's near-term contracting strategy, outline anticipated timelines, and anticipated contract vehicles across the three DEVCOM AvMC directorates Systems Readiness Directorate; Technology Development Directorate; and Software, Simulation and Systems Engineering and Integration Directorate.

Date: 9 May 2024

Time: 8am 11am

Location: Bob Jones Auditorium, Sparkman Complex, Building 5304, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Registration: To register and attend AvMC Industry Day, register at the DEVCOM AvMC Industry Day Registration link below, no later than 2 May 2024. No late registrations will be accepted. Each person will be required to sign in prior to entering the auditorium. Building-Specific Access is not required to attend this event.

Background
The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center (DEVCOM AvMC) held an Industry Day to discuss the organization’s near-term contracting strategy, outline anticipated timelines, and anticipated contract vehicles across the three DEVCOM AvMC directorates – Systems Readiness Directorate; Technology Development Directorate; and Software, Simulation and Systems Engineering and Integration Directorate.

Work Details
The work includes providing research, development, and technology demonstrations at the platform, weapon system, and component level. It also involves engineering and scientific subject matter expertise in all aspects of aircraft and weapon system design, development, improvement, and integration. Additionally, the contract encompasses fabricating and testing prototypes for technology demonstrations and operational experimentation as well as supporting readiness/sustainment efforts such as AMCOM Stockpile Reliability Program, Demilitarization, Corrosion Prevention and Control.
