2024 Design-Build Construction for Selective Improvements of the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina   2

Background
The U.S. Department of State (DOS), Office of the Procurement Executive (OPE) on behalf of the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO), has a requirement for Design-Build Construction Services for Selective Improvements of the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina. OBO seeks to commission our nation’s top constructors to produce facilities of outstanding quality and value. This project is available for full and open competition.

Work Details
The project consists of upgrades to MEPT, FA systems and end-of life equipment to meet code and OBO requirements, although full compliance is not anticipated. This work will be executed in GWA and CAA, CAA+ spaces and will require provision of a new roof penthouse to house new HVAC equipment.
Security upgrades of the project include, but are not limited to, construction of a new MCAC (Main Compound Access Control), and a provision of a safe area at the basement level. The scope of work includes renovation of the Consular Section which requires demolition and reconstruction of the exiting teller window hardline and new hardline. The project will require phasing and swing space as needed to keep Post operational.
