Stinger Block 1 missile production, 599 each and associated equipment.   2

The U.S. Army Contracting Command proposes to issue a contract, sole sourced to Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS), 1151 E. Hermans Road, Tuscon, Arizona 85767, CAGE: 15090. This effort is for the Cruise Missile Defense System (CMDS) Project Office, Stinger Based Systems (SBS) Product Office has a requirement for a new contract to support current and future Foreign Military Sales (FMS) for STINGER FIM-92H Block 1 (BLK 1) missiles, STINGER FIM-92F BLK 1 missiles, Captive Flight Trainers (CFTs), other training devices and associated equipment and spares. This source directed requirement is based on the authority in Statutory Authority 10 USC 2304(c)(4) as implemented by FAR 6.302-4 (a)(2) International Agreement. RMS is the only available source with the appropriate technical expertise, corporate knowledge, specialized skills and trained workforce to perform the required effort in the required timeframe. Due to the long term and highly integrated involvement of RMS in STINGER field support, upgrade development, production, FMS production, and support, it is not feasible to procure this effort from another sources.
