Background
The contract is for the production of specific items, including an igniter, test/inspection report, failure analysis/corrective action report, ammo data card, and contractor's progress, status, and management report. The items are to be delivered to NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support in Mechanicsburg, PA and Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport in Newport, RI.

Work Details
The contract includes the production of an igniter (TH01 IGNITER, MK288 MOD 1) and several data items such as a Test Procedure (A001), Test/Inspection Report (A002), Failure Analysis/Corrective Action Report (A003), Ammo Data Card (ADC) (A004), and Contractor’s Progress, Status and Management Report (A005).
The Test Procedure is to specify process control instructions and inspection procedures needed to ensure product conformance to drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
The Test/Inspection Report is to verify production lot conformance to applicable drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
The Failure Analysis/Corrective Action Report includes details on the frequency of submission and actions required in case of failure.
The Ammo Data Card shall be prepared according to MIL-STD-1168 and submitted via mail or email.
The Contractor’s Progress, Status and Management Report shall be submitted monthly after contract award.
