All Requests for Information (RFI's) shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist via Tanya.Torres@usda.gov, on the attached RFI form not later than 0900AM hours PST, December 21st, 2023.
A FS organized site visit will NOT be held. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.

Background
The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking the services of a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Contractor to replace the existing HVAC units at the Lee Vining Ranger Station, located on the Inyo National Forest in California. The existing HVAC units recently failed and need to be replaced before the winter season.

Work Details
The project will involve the removal & disposal of the existing Lennox Upflow furnace and the installation of a new replacement furnace and outdoor AC unit, including retrofitting the existing closet/mechanical room supply air plenum with 26-gauge sheet metal adapters.
The existing 120 Volt plug for the furnace will also be upgraded to accommodate the furnace unit and AC unit.
The project will also involve coordination of all labor, material deliveries, work performed until completion and acceptance of the entire work, as well as proper storage and disposal of all project waste and debris.

Period of Performance
The estimated start date for this project is January 2024 with a 14 calendar day period of performance after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Place of Performance
The project is located at the Lee Vining Ranger Station in Lee Vining, CA, on the Inyo National Forest.
