Description
The Coast Guard intends to solicit for the dry docking of the icebreaker CGC POLAR SEA for a period of performance from 15 Aug 2024 to 24 Oct 2024. POLAR SEA is in a special commissioned status and is currently moored in Seattle, WA with no means of propulsion. This project will include tow of the vessel to the contractor's facility, dry docking, hull cleaning, minor repairs and a subsequent tow to Suisun Bay, CA. Work will be performed on the West Coast since the ship must be towed.
