Sign Language Interpretation (SLI) Services for the Los Angeles Field Office (LOS)

Updated, 7/9/24: Estimated Solicitation Release Date, Contract Type, Estimated Award Date, Estimated Period of Performance Start & End Date. USCIS requires Sign Language Interpretation (SLI) Services on a regular basis for two (2) Federal employees at the Los Angeles Field Office (LOS) who are deaf. These services may be utilized during onsite or virtual team meetings, interviews, town halls, pre-recorded and recorded events, facility presentations, or other events as required. Requests will be made primarily for in-person and/or onsite SLI services. It is possible for some events to take place virtually or after normal business hours and on weekends; however, the Government will only accept virtual services on a case-by-case basis and in-person services will be required for most requests. The Contractor shall provide SLI services of both sign to voice, voice to sign and other services utilizing Signed English (SE) and/or American Sign Language (ASL). Scheduled meetings, trainings, and town halls are crucial for the USCIS employees to attend, and it is imperative that in-person SLI services are received; if a scheduled interpreter cannot meet the required timeframes, a qualified replacement interpreter shall be immediately made available.
