Description
Requirement: Design/Build - Build a New Mechanical room at 6600 to accommodate redundant equipment and replace inadequate equipment in Mechanical Room 119. New Mechanical room should include, but not limited to: boiler, chiller, hot water pump, chill water pump, process water pumps, water treatment plant for chilled and heating water systems, panelboards, motor control units, humidifiers, auxiliary heating coils, and monitoring systems. Additional components shall include, but not limited to: cooling and heating piping and associated valves, portable chiller connection, electrical distribution panels, fire dampers, addressable interface devices, manual disconnects, notification appliances, smoke detectors, heat detectors, monitor modules, and humidity detectors. Install Direct Digital Controls (DDC), associated cabinets and program components. Replace inadequate equipment Mechanical Room 119. Air handling units (AHU) should incorporate direct drive variable frequency drive (VFD) units with sealed bearings, modify air filter access on all AHU enclosures, replace all air handling unit sensors. Replace Hot Water Pump 1, Hot Water Pump 2 circuit setter, Chill Water Pumps 1 and 2, Process Water Pumps 1 and 2, Process Water Pumps 1 and 2 circuit setters, Coil Circulation Pumps 1 and 2, and failed cooling and heating valves. Replace humidifiers, upgrade all controls to DDC and clean all existing ductwork. Replace any failed dampers and actuators. Ensure proper system operation upon completion of the project. Ensure modifications are made to include the BOSC contract maintenance. Dispose of old material. Consider existing equipment listed below.
