R21 AK RRCS System Upgrade Agreement (SUA II)

This requirement is a logical follow-on to the Rescue 21 Alaska Remote Radio Console System (RRCS) System Upgrade Agreement (SUA) and Security Update Service (SUS). RRCS is a communication system based on ASTRO 25. The offeror, Motorola, delivered an integrated RRCS to the USCG under contract HSCG23-12-J-AAK146 and the Echo Mitigation System (EMS) under HSCG23-16-J-ANS004. The follow-on contract HSCG23-15-CANS020 provided upgrade services to the RRCS. The USCG expects to maintain the RRCS and EMS through at least 2030. The USCG understands that Motorola will not be able to guarantee Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) support for the system once deployed beyond five system release versions from the most currently released ASTRO 25 version. This requirement maintains the RRCS through periodic upgrades. This contract will be a noncompetitive award.
