NORFNSA-NH94 REPLACE FAILED OIL WATER SEPARATOR
Type: Forecast
Overview
Description
Secure outside contractor to remove and properly dispose of existing interior oil water separator and associated
interior holding tank. Task the same contractor to install a new oil water separator and holding tank in same
location. Existing device has been inoperable for several years. Due to degraded stability of the holding tank, it
cannot withstand repair, especially if bolts will be removed from it in order to replace the motor, sump pumps, oil transfer pump and controls. Failure to do so hinders this mission critical building: washwater from rinsing off external equipment for maintenance and handling of any spills from the generators.
