Description
Testing was completed on the DD8 IPS circuits and results determined that eighty-four (84) of the circuit are saturated with water due to improperly installed cable splices at the time of installation. This project is to replace eighty-four (84) industrial power station circuits at Dry-Dock 8 with an option to replace the remaining twelve (12) for a total of 96. In addition to replacing the cables, install new door seal gaskets, check heater operations and clean the gear. There are eight (8) IPS stations and each have twelve (12) circuits.
