Description
The Contractor will provide all aspects of daily environmental operations for Base Honolulu. These operations include daily inspections, waste consolidation, and customer service, recycling center operations, administrative tasks, and solid waste management tasks. The Contractor shall perform as the overall warehouse manager and provide guidance to any additional contractor support. The Contractor will provide coordination between USCG vessels and contractors for as-needed ship s services. The Contractor will coordinate with USCG local representatives to contact outside vendors for pick-up of solid waste and recycled materials. The Contractor will identify opportunities for hazardous waste and material reduction in the performance of regular duties. The goal is continual reduction of the volume and toxicity of waste generation and disposal. The Contractor iswill be responsible for properly executing the CHRIMP/HSMS processes in compliance with imposed environmental regulations on the use and disposal of hazardous materials used in support of the Base Honolulu HAZMINCEN, including database management.
