Description
The USCG Academy has a need for a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) simulator to support the mission and the education of next generation of USCG Officers. The USCG requires the technology employ Software Defined Radio (SDR) methods to maximize the flexibility of simulation capability. The simulator must be capable of simulating modern jam/spoofing threats, and must be capable of live-sky synchronization. 2. Size, Weight, and Power (SWAP) Specifications a. Size: Rack Mountable 8U or less: I. Width: 19 inches II. Depth : 27 inches or less III. Height: 14 inches or less b. Weight: 115 pounds or less (including signal generator/any host computer) c. Power: 110VAC outlet, maximum 20 Amps total (including power requirement for computer/signal generator) 3. SDR Cards: a. Minimum SDR cards required: 2 b. Capable to support up to 640 total channels (to support all constellations and multipath simulations) c. Number of SDR card channels: minimum 64 d. Number of RF outputs required: 2 4.
