Description
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS) has identified a requirement for nation-wide supplemental upfitting of FPS fleet law enforcement vehicles which includes the installation of Motorola APX 8500 All- Band P25 Mobile Radios and associated cables, radio chargers, antennas, and laptop mounts and chargers, and the procurement and installation of truck tonneau covers, caps, and slides, as needed. Vehicle transportation requirements from the GSA delivery points to the designated upfitter location(s) shall be a shared responsibility between the Government and the Contractor as described in the BPA SOW. Over the next 5-years, GSA leased police use vehicle replacements and subsequent FPS upfit requirements range from 20 to 620 vehicles per year. The BPA Call #1 quantities were based on the FY22 vehicle orders that FPS is beginning to see fulfilled by GSA/OEMs and some of the open FY23 vehicle orders.
