Overview
Description
The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform all the required services, improvements and rehabilitation as contemplated under this solicitation, in an orderly, timely and efficient manner and to the complete satisfaction of the Government for the services and major tasks identified in section 2 below.
2. The required services (tasks) shall include (but not limited to):
a. Clean the existing room and premises, and dispose all debris, materials, and existing equipment that are not needed in accordance local laws and regulations. The existing equipment will be disposed with the government authorization
b. Repair and prepare generator room walls (CMU s and plaster) if necessary, before primer and painting. Use a low VOC primer and paint for interior application. Paint color will be chosen by PM / COR. Primer and paint submittal is required.
c. Apply an epoxy flooring system to the entire interior floor of the generator room. As minimum requirements, the epoxy flooring system should be flexible to reduce the tendency for cracks in the subfloor to be transmitted to the surface, causing cracking, and chemical resistant to withstand exposure to cleaning compounds, water, diesel fuel, gasoline or other materials handled in the environment to which it is subjected. Epoxy floor paint system submittal is required.
d. Repair and seal generator room roof areas that are allowing rainwater intrusion. Include the roof cleanout with a pressure machine.
e. For electrical work the following tasks are required.
1. New 200 Amp NEMA 3 16 Space Panel and (2) 120/208 ATS NEMA 4.
2. New electrical wires, connections and EMT conduits.
3. (10) LED Light Fixtures. Remove existing lamps and provide (10) LED Light Fixtures (Similar or equal of lamps installed in St Thomas Generator Room).
4. Provide a new automatic transfer (ATS) switch that control both generators (New & Existing).
5. (2) New Occupancy Sensors.
6. Provide (1) New 150 KW Generator with a day-tank. The new generator shall be connected to the main diesel tank. Ensure that new electrical generator shall be fully compatible with the existing systems and generator, such as generator controls and integration, transfer switch (if required), fuel type, electrical phases, frequency, voltage, amperage, prime output, standby output, programming and other to ensure the smooth (without delays) operation.
7. Any other miscellaneous materials.
