Manned Ground Vehicle is a part of the Army's Next Generation Combat Vehicle Army Modernization Priority. The program's primary objective is to develop the Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle (OMFV) as part of an Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT) to replace the Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle. The OMFV is designed to provide the capabilities required to defeat a future near-peer competitor's force and deliver decisive lethality during combined arms maneuver. The program aims to optimize the platform for Life Cycle Environmental Profiles, reduce logistical burdens, and support Soldiers with advanced sensors, protection, and mission command. Additionally, the program focuses on digital engineering, product development, modeling simulation & analysis, government architecture, and other support costs to achieve its objectives.
