Joint Automated Deep Operation Coordination System (JADOCS)

EF7: Precision Fires Warrior Dismounted & Mounted (PF-D/M) aims to provide dismounted and mounted Forward Observers and Fire Support Teams with the ability to execute fire missions. This includes developing software applications hosted on the Nett Warrior End User Device (EUD) to accurately and rapidly locate ground targets, digitally process Call for Fires, and integrate with Mounted Mission Command-Software (MMC-S) on the Mounted Family of Computing Systems (MFoCS). The program also supports net-enabled weapons capability with joint services and aligns with Nett Warrior architecture changes. Additionally, it involves conducting production qualification and functional quality testing, as well as providing interactive electronic technical manuals for Precision Fires-Mounted (PF-M) per Mil-Std 40051-1C.

Program EF8: AFATDS Increment 1 focuses on modernizing the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) to support hosting environment flexibility, improve cybersecurity posture, enable hypersonic capabilities, and incorporate Long-Range Precision Fires (LRPF) munition improvements. This includes overhauling the user interface based on Soldier feedback, establishing a data bridge with Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), enabling high tempo counter fire operations, incorporating embedded training, and enhancing Link 16 capabilities and digital radios. The program also involves continued development of Precision Fires-Dismounted/Mounted (PF-D/M) Block 3 capabilities onto target computing environments, including net-enabled weapons capability with joint services. These efforts align with Army Long Range Precision Fires (LRPF) and Network modernization priorities to automate the planning and execution of fire support operations.
