Arctic Air Alaska has assisted biologists and researchers to collar, track, and capture for studies in migration and habitat patterns, and for population assessments of Alaskan Wildlife. In addition, our clients charter flights to map specific regions, check on remote property, build remote structures, or set up scientific equipment in remote areas. We fly photographers and flight seers to the vast area's of Alaska's wild regions, hunters to their camps in the fall, and adventurer's to their hiking or kayaking destinations. James (Sandy) Hamilton, owner and chief pilot, has decades of year-round, low level flying and surveying expertise in Alaska's National Parks, the oil fields of the north slope, the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and the Brooks Range. All characteristics in high demand for animal and habitat biological research in the arctic and sub-arctic regions of Alaska.
