Objective
To provide funding to non-federal entities that serve noncitizen migrants recently released from DHS custody to provide shelter, food, transportation, acute medical care, personal hygiene supplies, and labor necessary to manage cases to provide these services.
To provide funding to non-federal entities to increase their capacity to shelter noncitizen migrants recently released from DHS custody, including renovations and modifications to existing facilities.
Applicant Eligibility
Eligible applicants are listed in the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). These eligible applicants must demonstrate the capability, either internally or through a partnership, to provide the SSP allowable activity proposed for funding. Funding will not be provided to any applicant that charges any noncitizen migrant for services.
