Applicant Eligibility
Any aggrieved person, or the Assistant Secretary, may file a complaint based on an alleged discriminatory housing practice because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status or disability status. The complaint may be filed with the Department of Housing and Urban Development or a State or local fair housing agency whose law has been determined to be substantially equivalent to the Federal Fair Housing Act.
Beneficiary Eligibility
Anyone alleging to have been discriminated against in violation of the Fair Housing Act.
