Our Data and Tools

HigherGov provides the most comprehensive data available on the government contracting and grant markets.

• Public Data: We source, normalize, and map data from hundreds of federal and tens of thousands of state and local public data sources so subscribers can quickly find and analyze opportunities and understand the competitive environment.
• FOIA Data: The government collects massive amounts of data that is not automatically made public. We work with government agencies to obtain, integrate, and analyze this critical data.
• Proprietary Data: Our experts build proprietary datasets and research to create unique insights that are not available anywhere else.

To make this data accessible, HigherGov builds tools to visualize, automate, and accelerate business development processes and promote adherence with best practices of leading organizations.

10% To the Mission

As part of our dedication to supporting the markets we serve and the greater public, we dedicate 10% of our time to research and development tools and resources that benefit growing contractors, grant recipients, and government agencies as well as supporting journalists and other market stakeholders. Previous projects include public spending tracking for COVID-19, Ukraine Mission Support, and novel research focused on the causes of declining small business involvement in government contracting. HigherGov was founded by Justin Siken to modernize government market intelligence platforms by integrating the best practices of dozens of leading government contractors and advisors and borrowing innovations from leading tech and financial platforms.

HigherGov is 100% privately- and U.S.- owned and free from conflicts. We have a presence in New York and Washington D.C.
